Hey everyone,

It's been over a year and a half since DT shut down and we know quite a few of you have been eager to see the server make a return.

We're happy to announce that we've been working on bringing the server back online and we will be officially relaunching DupeTable on Saturday the 17th of October @ 5PM ACDT!

As part of the relaunch we have also updated the server to 26.3, bringing us to the latest version as we had been stuck on 1.20.1 for quite a while.

What to expect

We want to be upfront that this relaunch will also serve as a bit of an early testing period for us. Whilst we've got most things ready to go there are still a few things we're working on, such as:

- Clans: Clans will be available at launch, but the current system still has some issues that we were aware of even before the shutdown. We'll be experimenting with improvements following the relaunch, as clans previously didn't have much use beyond displaying a chat tag. We'd love to expand on this and give clans a bit more purpose, so if you've got any suggestions, please let us know in the suggestions channel in our discord!

- Challenges: Challenges will be available at launch, but may be scrapped or reworked as we had seen very little use of these before the shutdown.

- Crates: These will be temporarily unavailable at launch due to compatibility issues with newer versions of MC. We'll work on bringing these back along with any crate keys you might've had before the shutdown.

- Chunk Loading: You may notice some older chunks take a little longer to load than usual. This is expected as we're currently testing storing older, less frequently accessed chunks on an external server to save disk space on our primary server. We'll be playing around with this to keep any active chunks loading quickly whilst offloading any inactive/unneeded chunks. 

- Bugs & Issues: With the update to 26.3 there may be some bugs we had missed whilst updating the server. If you encounter any bugs please let us know either in a ticket or a suggestion in our discord.

We'll continue working on further improvements for the server, if there is anything you'd like to see added or changed please let us know via the suggestions channel in our discord!
